The article Can Venture Capital Be Optimized for Happiness? co-written by Happiness Capital was published in June 2024 on Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR).The article introduced the “Happiness Return Framework”, which is a metric to measure how investments can be used to begin to systematically incorporate the happiness and well-being of all stakeholders into investment decisions.

Case study in Harvard Business Review

HKUST has written a case study titled “Happiness Capital: A Hundred-Year-Old Family Business’ Quest to Create Happiness”, which was published in September 2024 by Harvard Business Publishing. The case acknowledges Happiness Capital as a pioneer in impact investing with its proprietary “Happiness Return Framework” to measure happiness. It also examines its investment strategies, processes, performance, risk management, organization and governance.
