CONSUMER/USER CENTRICITY –
THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND OUR CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION

2025 signifies a pivotal milestone as we debut our upgraded corporate culture. This cultural transformation aims to steer us through the complexities of an ever-changing landscape, enabling us to explore innovative paths while anchored in a solid foundation. It empowers the Group and its business units to advance steadily and better fulfil our pursuit of health and happiness.

Imagine our corporate culture as a magnificent building, where our mission and vision form a towering roof that guides our way and defines our ultimate goals. Beneath this roof, our values and leadership forge a strong foundation that supports our organisation’s stability and sustainable growth. Values establish the standards by which we determine what is correct, while leadership compels us to execute the right actions with excellence. With these two cornerstones firmly in place, our organisation can withstand challenges, achieve steady growth, and soar to new heights, ultimately creating a structure that embodies our mission and vision—making the world healthier and happier.

Our Commitment to Customer Orientation

At the heart of our mission and vision lies a steadfast commitment to a human-centred approach, prioritising the needs of our consumers/users in our endeavours.

Over our 137-year history of ups and downs, we have upheld a timeless belief: humanity’s quest for “health” and “happiness” remains unchanged, regardless of how the world evolves.

Under this belief, our business development revolves around these two core elements—”health” and “happiness.” Lee Kum Kee Sauce aims to “promote excellent Chinese culinary culture,” sharing the joy brought by delicacies, and inviting more people to savour the beauty of life through our flavours. Infinitus champions Chinese wellness as the pillars of happiness. Meanwhile, H Properties is dedicated to enhancing customers’ joyful experiences within their work environments. Happiness Capital reinforces the belief by integrating human welfare into its investment strategies, affirming that both financial and happiness returns hold equal significance. By investing in startups that resonate with this mission, we aspire to make a positive impact on the world.

In the previous issue, we highlighted the DNA of Lee Kum Kee Group—our “100-1=0” quality management philosophy—has been recognised as one of our core values. This reflects our pledge to delivering exceptional quality to our consumers/users, thereby fostering their trust.

Yet, in today’s dynamic world, organisations that thrive consistently embrace change and deliver significant value for their customers. Simply adhering to our original intention and zero-tolerance quality philosophy is insufficient. Taking on a “consumer/user-centric” approach is essential to realising this goal, as it propels our transformation and drives us toward greatness. Hence, we must alter our mindset, abandon obsolete practices, adopt fresh perspectives, and engage in endeavours previously unattempted. How, then, do we guide our actions? This requires a thorough reassessment of customer needs and a genuine commitment to adopting “consumer/user-centric” strategies as we advance in partnership with our users.

Looking Ahead

This cultural evolution represents not only an internal transformation within the organisation but also a profound commitment to our consumers/users: placing them at the heart of our focus, meeting their expectations with innovation and stability, and contributing to a healthier and happier world.

At this juncture, we must embrace the disruptive changes ahead. Though the journey ahead may present challenges, it is this process that fosters growth and breakthroughs. Over the next decade, we aspire to become a “consumer/user-centric” model enterprise. As times evolve and consumers/users’ needs change, we believe that growing alongside them is crucial for Lee Kum Kee to stay relevant and resilient.

Moving forward, we remain dedicated to our “consumers/users”, integrating “health” and “happiness” into every product and experience we offer. We strive to become a trusted enterprise that embodies not only our mission and our responsibilities, but also serves as a guiding principle that connects our millennial legacy with our future.
